Change Mobile Number In EPFO

We call the retirement benefits plan for salaried workers the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF). The Employee Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) oversees the EPF program.

Every employee of the Public Employees’ Provident Fund (EPFO) that contributes is assigned a unique number known as a UAN. The EPFO member must log into the EPFO member portal to activate the UAN after it has been generated. Using the site, EPFO members can examine their EPFO passbook, withdraw funds from their EPF account, and access other EPFO-related services.

The members can also easily benefit from the EPFO services using their phone numbers via SMS. Through the EPF member site, they must register their phone number online in the EPFO database. When activating their UAN or logging into the EPFO member site for the first time, new members must provide their phone numbers. With the portal, updating the phone number is also very simple.

  • Send an SMS from the registered phone number to check the EPF balance.
