Workers can quickly see or get their EPFO Passbook on the internet through the EPFO portal or check their balance using the UMANG app. This article explains the steps for getting your EPF Passbook and balances through these ways.
- First, visit the official website of EPFO at https://www.epfindia.gov.in/
- Next, click on “Our Services” on the main page.
- Then, click on the “For Employees” option.
- A new page will appear on your screen. Click on the “Member Passbook” option there.
- A new page will appear on your screen. Enter your UAN (Universal Account Number), password, and captcha code. After that, click on “Sign In.”
- Once you log in, a new page will show up on the screen. It will display the amount of money the employee and the employer have put into the EPF, as well as the total balance.
- You can find all the details about your current company on the same page.
- When you click on the “Profile” option, you can see all the details about them, like their UAN (Universal Account Number), mobile number, name, date of birth, and other KYC-related information.
- If you want to get your EPF Passbook in PDF format, just click on the “Passbook” option.
- When you click on “Passbook,” a new page will appear on your screen showing all your account details. On that page, you’ll find the option to “Download As PDF.”
- Here, you can click on this option to download the EPF Passbook as a PDF file.
How To See Your EPF Passbook With The UMANG App
All workers can check their passbooks on the UMANG App. To see your EPF passbook on the UMANG app, just follow these steps:
- First download the UMANG App from the Play Store.
- Thereafter, log in to the application using your mobile number.
- After that, simply type EPFO in the search bar. You’ll see various options on your screen, and then click on “View Passbook.”
Type in your Universal Account Number (UAN) and password. After you give these details, you can see your EPF Passbook.
