The Universal Account Number (UAN) has been made available to the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) member. Every EPFO member who contributes to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) plan is given a unique number known as their UAN. When workers switch companies, the UAN doesn’t change.

  • Enter your username and password to log in to the EPFO member portal.
  • Go to the top menu and select ‘Manage’.
  • After that, select ‘KYC’ from the drop-down menu.
  • Choose “bank” from the document type menu.
  • Now edit your account information, including your IFSC code and bank account number, and click “Save” to continue.
  • Your information will be shown under the “KYC pending for approval” option after it has been saved.
  • After that, give your employer the document verification.

Note: The status will appear under “Digitally Approved KYC” on the EPFO portal once your employer has verified your documentation. After approval, you will also receive an SMS on the provided mobile number.
